Alone with a Homo
We find him alone We find him on a boat We find him alone with a homo Alone with a homo on a boat
He'd expected more All the guys from the store He'd expected what they had neglected The homo'd been the only one to show
They were friends of friends Distant friends of friends They both thought we're adults so why not And both of them boarded the boat
Handed a beer by the homo He felt their fingers touch At noontime he found himself sharing a table for two for lunch
They caught a fish Quite a tasty dish But they found they both had to tug on the pole Cause that fish was so damn big
They ended up wet Brows beaded with sweat He gave him a high five but didn't meet his eyes And beat that fish till it's dead
By sunset the bathroom Smelled like the homo but that makes no sense By landfall he couldn't help moving The keys of the car to his hand Exchanging the briefest goodbyes He pretended that he had to go Not knowing why trying to wipe from his mind The day on the boat
